Job Summary The Store Incharge is responsible for the efficient management of all construction materials tools and equipment at the site This role ensures proper material receiving storage issuance documentation and inventory control to support smooth site execution Key Responsibilities1 Material Receiving Verification Receive materials as per delivery challan PO and invoice Check quality quantity and specifications of incoming materials Report discrepancies or damages immediately to the Project Procurement team Ensure proper filing of GRN Goods Receipt Note 2 Material Storage Handling Ensure safe and systematic storage of cement steel aggregates tiles electrical plumbing materials etc Maintain correct stacking and labeling to avoid mix-up or damage Ensure compliance with site safety standards and housekeeping 3 Material Issuance Accounting Issue materials as per approved Material Requisition Slip MRS Maintain daily records of issue and consumption Track fast-moving and critical items to avoid work delays Prevent unauthorized withdrawal of materials 4 Inventory Management Maintain updated stock register manual digital Conduct weekly and monthly stock audits Reduce wastage pilferage and excess storage Provide daily weekly stock reports to Project Manager 5 Coordination Coordinate with procurement team for material shortages Liaise with site engineers for material planning and forecasting Assist contractors in material issuance as per construction requirements 6 Documentation Compliance Maintain all store documents GRN Issue Slips MRS Stock Register Supplier Documents Ensure compliance with company policies and ISO documentation if applicable Prepare reconciliation reports for steel cement shuttering materials etc Skills Requirements Minimum 3-4 years experience in store management at civil construction sites Knowledge of construction materials and equipment Proficiency in MS Excel ERP SAP optional but preferred Strong organizational communication and record-keeping skills Ability to handle physical work and fast-paced site environment Educational Qualification Diploma in Civil Engineering Graduate in any discipline Certification in Store and Inventory Management is an added advantage Job Types Full time Permanent Pay 20 000 00 - 26 000 00 per month Work Location In person
