bout the Role We are seeking a passionate and technically proficient Simulation Engineer - Structure to join our Engineering Solutions team This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in FEA and a hands-on approach to solving real-world mechanical problems using Ansys Mechanical and related simulation tools As part of our pre- and post-sales support function you will work closely with customers to understand their requirements provide technical solutions and contribute to the success of simulation-driven engineering across multiple industries Key Responsibilities Technical Support Consulting Provide expert-level support for Ansys Mechanical including linear and nonlinear static energetic and thermal analyses Rigid Body dynamics Pre and Post processing including Geoemetry clean-up Meshing Boundary condition and results Troubleshoot and guide customers on issues related to model setup meshing convergence and result interpretation Support custom workflows involving material modelling contact behaviour and sub-modelling Simulation Projects Develop and validate FEA models to solve engineering challenges across industries Apply knowledge of other solvers such as Abaqus or Nastran if needed Educational Qualifications M Tech MS in Applied Mechanics Machine Design or related mechanical disciplines preferred B Tech B E with minimum 2 years of hands-on FEA experience will also be considered Required Skills Experience Technical Proficiency Hands-on experience with Ansys Mechanical Workbench Solid understanding of FEA theory contacts meshing material modelling and large deformation analysis Familiarity with APDL Abaqus Nastran or other solvers is a plus Communication Interpersonal Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work directly with customers and explain complex topics in simple terms Team-oriented with a consultative approach to technical problem-solving Preferred Qualifications Strength and Durability analysis Experience with automation parametric optimization or simulation data processing Exposure to CAD tools and integration SpaceClaim SolidWorks Creo etc Understanding of HPC usage in simulation
