Company Description WNS Holdings Limited NYSE WNS is a leading Business Process Management BPM company We combine our deep industry knowledge with technology and analytics expertise to co-create cutting-edge digital-led transformational solutions with clients across 10 industries We enable businesses in Travel Insurance Banking and Financial Services Manufacturing Retail and Consumer Packaged Goods Shipping and Logistics Healthcare and Utilities to re-imagine their digital future and transform their outcomes with operational excellence We deliver an entire spectrum of BPM services in finance and accounting procurement customer interaction services and human resources leveraging collaborative models that are tailored to address the unique business challenges of each client We co-create and execute the future vision of 400 clients with the help of our 44 000 employees Position Lead - Azure Data Fabric Developer Location Bangalore Hybrid Model Requirements We are seeking a highly motivated Lead - Azure Data Fabric Developer to design develop and maintain our cloud-based data infrastructure The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience with Azure services a strong focus on Microsoft Fabric and proficiency in building end-to-end data solutions from ingestion and transformation to storage modeling and visualization You will play a key role in enabling data-driven decision-making across the company Key Responsibilities Design and build scalable and efficient data pipelines ETL ELT processes and data models within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem with a primary focus on Microsoft Fabric Develop pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Fabric Pipelines to ingest data from various internal and external sources such as on-premise SQL APIs and cloud storage Use Fabric Dataflows Gen2 and Spark Jobs Spark SQL PySpark Scala within Fabric notebooks to cleanse transform and enrich data according to business requirements Manage and optimize data storage in Azure Blob Storage Azure Data Lake Storage ADLS and within Microsoft Fabric OneLake Design build and maintain the Fabric Data Warehouse for structured analytics Develop maintain and optimize relational databases using Azure PostgreSQL or Azure SQL Server ensuring high performance security and availability Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to develop interactive and insightful reports and dashboards using Power BI and manage Power BI datasets dataflows and reports Monitor troubleshoot and optimize data pipelines Spark jobs and data warehouse queries for performance and cost-effectiveness Implement and adhere to best practices for version control continuous integration and continuous deployment using Azure DevOps Lead the team and work closely with data engineers data scientists business intelligence analysts and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver integrated solutions Required Qualifications Skills A minimum of 6 to 9 years of professional experience in data engineering ETL development or a similar role Proven hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure data services Demonstrable expertise in Microsoft Fabric including managing data within OneLake building and managing the SQL analytics endpoint in Fabric Data Warehouse and hands-on development with Fabric Pipelines Fabric Dataflows Gen2 and Spark Jobs Strong proficiency in SQL with experience in Azure PostgreSQL or Azure SQL Server T-SQL including schema design and performance tuning Solid understanding of ETL ELT concepts and experience building pipelines with Azure Data Factory and or Fabric Pipelines Experience in developing reports and dashboards with Power BI including DAX and Power Query M Proficiency in Python and or Scala for data processing and Spark development Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail Preferred QualificationsMicrosoft Azure certifications such as DP-203 Data Engineer Associate or PL-300 Power BI Data Analyst Associate Experience with other Azure services such as Azure Databricks Azure Synapse Analytics or Azure Functions Familiarity with DevOps principles and tools like Azure DevOps and Git Knowledge of data governance security and compliance standards in the cloud Understanding of data modeling concepts such as star schema and snowflake schema Qualifications Graduate Post Graduate
