- Interior Estimation BOQ Engineer Position Interior Estimation BOQ Engineer Department Projects Estimation Location Chalakudy Reporting to Project Manager Senior Estimator Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed BOQ Bill of Quantities for interior projects residential commercial hospitality etc Study architectural drawings interior layouts and specifications to understand scope of work Conduct quantity take-off for civil carpentry electrical plumbing flooring painting and furnishing works Collect and analyze material labor rates from vendors and contractors Prepare cost estimation sheets including materials labor subcontractor charges overheads and profit margins Work closely with design procurement and site teams to ensure accuracy in estimates Assist in preparing tenders quotations and client proposals Update rate analysis database for different works and materials Coordinate with vendors for price negotiation comparative statements Support project managers in budget control and cost monitoring Required Skills Competencies Strong knowledge of interior works civil carpentry electrical plumbing false ceiling flooring painting Proficiency in AutoCAD MS Excel MS Project Primavera for BOQ preparation estimation Knowledge of rate analysis material specifications and market rates Ability to read and interpret drawings architectural interior Attention to detail accuracy and strong analytical skills Good communication and negotiation skills Qualification Experience Diploma B Tech B E in Civil Engineering Interior Design Architecture or related field 1-2 years of experience in interior estimation quantity surveying or BOQ preparation Experience in working with interior contractors consultants or construction companies preferred Job Type Full-time Pay 12 000 00 - 18 000 00 per month Advantages Health insurance Provident Fund Work Location In person
