· Sterilization Processes: Ensure the proper cleaning, sterilization, and decontamination of surgical instruments and equipment using autoclaves and other sterilizing devices.

· Instrument Handling: Assemble and disassemble surgical instruments, checking for functionality and cleanliness. Inspect instruments for any damage or defects and ensure they are in positive working order.

· Inventory Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of sterile supplies and instruments. Manage stock levels, reorder supplies as needed, and ensure proper storage of sterile items.

· Infection Control: Adhere to strict infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to prevent contamination. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the CSSD workspace.

· Quality Assurance:



Implement quality control measures to ensure the effectiveness of sterilization processes. Conduct regular testing and maintenance of sterilization equipment.

· Documentation: Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes, instrument usage, and inventory management. Generate reports as required.

· Communication: Collaborate with surgical teams, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the timely availability of sterile instruments and equipment.
