Embedded Engineer Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and motivated Embedded Enginner to join our R&D; team developing smart 3D printing technologies. The role involves hands-on work with embedded hardware and AI/ML integration on embedded hardware platforms. You’ll contribute to developing intelligent control, monitoring, and diagnostic systems for 3D printers—combining software, hardware, and AI to enhance performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and test code in C++ and Python.
- Implement algorithms for defect detection, surface analysis, and real-time monitoring using ML or similar libraries.
- Assist in designing and deploying machine learning models for flaw detection and process optimization.
- Interface hardware peripherals such as stepper drivers, temperature sensors, thermistors, limit switches, proximity sensors, cameras, and other modules with Raspberry Pi or microcontrollers.
- Work with communication protocols like UART, I²C, SPI, and CAN for sensor and module integration.
- Calibrate and control 3D printer components such as motors, heaters, fans, and endstops through embedded code.
- Analyze system data to improve accuracy, stability, and performance of the printing process.
- Document experimental results, algorithms, and hardware connections.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI and hardware control modules into functional prototypes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
- Knowledge of embedded systems programming and microcontroller fundamentals.
- Familiarity with computer vision and image/Audio/Video processing.
- Understanding of machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow.
- Experience working with Raspberry Pi, Arduino, or ESP32.
- Basic understanding of electronics and circuit design (sensors, actuators, power systems).
- Familiarity with 3D printer hardware, including stepper motors, drivers, thermistors, proximity sensors, heater cartridges, MOSFETs, and power electronics.
- Understanding of communication protocols (UART, SPI, I²C, CAN).
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to document processes and communicate technical results clearly.
Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have):
- Experience or Positive Knowledge of 3D printing / CNC systems.
- Exposure to real-time data logging and process monitoring.
- Knowledge of PID tuning, motion control, or G-code parsing.
- Experience with sensor calibration or signal conditioning.
- Interest in integrating AI on embedded hardware (Edge AI) for automation.
Job Type: Internship
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
Benefits:
