About the Role

Jewel Child Development Centre is looking for a compassionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated Special Educator to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will work with children with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, intellectual disabilities, learning disabilities, developmental delays, and other special needs, helping them develop academic, social, behavioral, communication, and life skills through individualized educational interventions.

You will collaborate with Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Clinical Psychologists, Behavioral Therapists, and other professionals to provide holistic, child-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct educational and functional assessments to identify each child's learning needs.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) based on assessment findings.
- Deliver engaging, individualized, and group learning sessions tailored to each child's abilities.
- Support the development of academic, cognitive, communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills.
- Monitor student progress and modify teaching strategies to achieve developmental goals.
- Work closely with parents and caregivers by providing guidance, home programs, and regular progress updates.
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and educational records.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive intervention and developmental support.
- Participate in case discussions, staff meetings, training programs, and continuous professional development activities.

Eligibility

- Bachelor's Degree in Special Education (B.Ed. Special Education) is mandatory.
- Master's Degree in Special Education (M.Ed. Special Education) is preferred.




- RCI (Rehabilitation Council of India) registration is preferred.
- Freshers with robust subject knowledge, a passion for working with children, and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with experience in pediatric intervention or child development settings will have an added advantage.
