Job Title Microbiologist Department QA QC Organization Amoya Agrifood Pvt Ltd Website www amoyaagrifood com Employment Type Full-time On-site Work Schedule 24x6 General Shift 9 00 AM - 5 30 PM Shift rotation may occur Role Purpose We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Microbiologist to ensure the microbiological quality and safety of milk and milk products The role involves conducting microbial analysis maintaining compliance with food safety standards and supporting continuous improvement within the QA QC function Key Responsibilities 1 Microbial Testing Conduct microbial testing of incoming raw materials in-process samples and finished products Perform microbiological analysis of water workplace pipelines equipment and personnel 2 Preparation Laboratory Management Prepare microbiological media cultures reagents and chemicals Issue and manage materials required for testing Maintain stock records of chemicals glassware and laboratory equipment 3 Compliance Quality Assurance Approve or hold in-process and finished products based on test results Authorize release hold status of equipment or processes post testing Ensure compliance with ISO HACCP and food safety standards Monitor HACCP CCPs OPRPs and report deviations with improvement suggestions Verify cleaning and sanitation of all process equipment and areas to prevent contamination Coordinate pest control activities Support the implementation of TQM and newly introduced quality systems 4 Documentation Record Keeping Maintain accurate and complete microbiology-related documentation Ensure all tests and inspections are performed as per SOPs and regulatory guidelines 5 Coordination Communication Coordinate with production QC maintenance procurement and HR teams for timely completion of activities Arrange and track medical testing of plant personnel Work effectively with suppliers service providers regulatory bodies and customers as required Complete tasks assigned by seniors in a timely and professional manner Reporting Structure Primary Reporting Quality Assurance Officer Secondary Reporting COO Internal Interfaces Production QC Maintenance Procurement HR External Interfaces Suppliers service providers regulatory bodies customers Qualifications Essential M Sc B Sc in Microbiology or Biotechnology Experience Essential Minimum 6 months of experience in microbial testing of milk milk products Preferred Experience within dairy food processing industries Strong understanding of microbiology lab techniques and media preparation Working knowledge of ISO HACCP standards Familiarity with food safety and regulatory requirements Skills Competencies Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Excellent documentation and organizational abilities Ability to interpret test results accurately Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks Job Types Full-time Permanent Fresher Pay 10 000 00 - 17 000 00 per month Benefits Health insurance Provident Fund Work Location In person
