Job Summary The Purchase Executive will be responsible for sourcing procuring and managing materials chemicals and services required for the smooth operation of the chemical plant The role involves vendor management cost negotiation quality checks timely procurement and maintaining proper documentation in compliance with company policies Key Responsibilities 1 Source and procure raw materials chemicals packaging and other items required for production 2 Identify evaluate and maintain relationships with reliable vendors and suppliers 3 Negotiate prices payment terms and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings 4 Ensure timely delivery of materials to avoid production delays 5 Coordinate with the production quality and inventory teams for material requirements 6 Maintain accurate records of purchase orders invoices and vendor contracts 7 Monitor market trends new products and alternative suppliers 8 Ensure compliance with safety environmental and statutory regulations 9 Assist in resolving any issues related to procurement quality or delivery 10 Prepare reports and submit regular updates to the Purchase Manager Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Chemistry Chemical Engineering Business or a related field Minimum 1-3 years of experience in procurement purchasing in a chemical or manufacturing industry Strong negotiation communication and vendor management skills Knowledge of chemical raw materials and their handling is a plus Proficiency in MS Office and purchase management software Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure Reporting To Purchase Manager Head of Purchase Work Environment Based in a chemical plant setting adherence to safety and compliance is mandatory Job Type Full time Pay 20 000 00 - 24 000 00 per month Benefits Cell phone reimbursement Health insurance Leave encashment Provident Fund Education Bachelor s Preferred Work Location In person
