Job description We are seeking a creative and talented Video Editor with 4 years of professional experience to join our dynamic team The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for storytelling a keen eye for detail and the technical skills to produce high-quality video content You will work closely with our production team to create engaging videos for various platforms including social media websites and marketing campaigns with a focus on YouTube and Reels Responsibilities Editing and Assembling Raw Footage Review and select footage edit clips and assemble raw material into a polished final product Adding Effects and Graphics Incorporate graphics special effects sound effects and music to enhance the video Color Correction and Grading Adjust color exposure and other elements to ensure visual consistency and appeal Sound Editing Synchronize audio and video adjust levels and mix soundtracks YouTube and Reels Editing Create compelling video content specifically tailored for YouTube and Instagram Reels optimizing for engagement and platform-specific requirements Collaborating with Team Work closely with directors producers and other team members to understand project goals and deliver the desired message Maintaining File Organization Keep digital assets organized and ensure all project files are properly archived Meeting Deadlines Manage time effectively to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work on schedule Staying Updated with Trends Keep abreast of the latest video editing software tools techniques and trends especially in the context of YouTube and Instagram Reels Requirements Experience 4 years of professional video editing experience Technical Skills Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro Final Cut Pro After Effects and DaVinci Resolve Creative Skills Solid sense of timing pacing and storytelling ability to creatively solve problems and enhance footage Attention to Detail Meticulous attention to detail ensuring high-quality and error-free videos Communication Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills ability to take and implement feedback effectively Platform Knowledge Familiarity with the best practices and requirements for YouTube and Instagram Reels video content Portfolio A portfolio showcasing previous work and demonstrating video editing skills including samples of YouTube and Reels content Education A degree or diploma in Film Production Media Communications or a related field is preferred but not mandatory Preferred Qualifications Experience with motion graphics and animation Basic knowledge of audio editing and sound design Familiarity with color grading and correction techniques Understanding of different video formats and codecs Job Type Full-time Pay 20 000 00 - 30 000 00 per month Education Bachelor s Preferred Experience Video Editing 4 years Preferred Work Location In person
