Interior Design Cost Estimator Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Interior Design Cost Estimator to join our team The role involves preparing accurate Bill of Quantities cost estimates budgets financial forecasts and bills for interior design and architectural projects The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills knowledge of interior materials and finishes and the ability to collaborate with designers contractors and clients to ensure projects are completed within budget Key Responsibilities Review design drawings specifications and client requirements to prepare detailed Bill of Quantities and cost estimates Develop initial budget proposals and refine estimates as project design evolves Source and analyze material furniture fixture and equipment FF E costs Coordinate with vendors suppliers and contractors to obtain quotations Assess labor material and time requirements for projects Monitor project costs during execution and highlight potential cost overruns Support the design team with cost-related input to optimize project feasibility Maintain an updated database of market rates for materials and services Ensure compliance with company policies industry standards and project specifications Qualifications Skills Diploma in Interior Design Civil Engineering or related field Proven experience as a Cost Estimator Quantity Surveyor or in a similar role within interior design or construction Strong knowledge of interior materials finishes furniture and construction techniques Proficiency in MS Excel AutoCAD estimating software or cost management tools Detail-oriented with the ability to work under tight deadlines Preferred Experience 2-4 years of relevant experience in interior design cost estimation Experience in both residential commercial and retail projects Familiarity with international sourcing and vendor management Job Type Full-time In office Job Type Full-time Pay 30 000 00 - 40 000 00 per month Work Location In person
