Job Title Planning Material Planner Location Alandi Pune Experience Required 2-5 Years BE Mech 5-7 Years Diploma Mech Qualification BE in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Compensation 3 to 6 LPA Key Responsibilities Plan and manage material requirements based on production forecasts and demand Monitor production schedules identifying bottlenecks or delays and escalating as required Track availability of raw materials components and semi-finished goods to meet production needs Assist in creating daily weekly and monthly production plans based on sales forecasts and order requirements Develop and maintain accurate Bill of Materials BOM and Material Requirement Planning MRP systems Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components Monitor and control inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock Collaborate with production quality and warehouse teams to resolve material related issues Maintain accurate records of material transactions and prepare relevant reports Ensure compliance with company policies safety standards and industry Support continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain Communicate material delays or issues that could impact production or delivery Required Skills Competencies Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain management Hands-on experience in Project-based Industrial Field Fabrication of Mechanical Equipment Structural Fabrication MS SS and Assembly of Equipment Conveyors Cranes Blowers Dryers ERP MRP system knowledge SAP Oracle Microsoft Dynamics preferred but not mandatory Advanced Microsoft Excel skills PivotTables VLOOKUPs Macros Excellent communication coordination and analytical abilities Job Types Full time Permanent Pay 300 000 00 - 600 000 00 per year Benefits Food provided Health insurance Leave encashment Life insurance Paid sick time Paid time off Provident Fund Experience Assembly of Cranes Conveyors Blower 3 years Required Heavy Fabrication 3 years Required Material planning engineer 3 years Required Project based industry 3 years Required Work Location In person
