Position Purpose Summary Provides ownership of Test Strategy Product Quality across the Product Life Cycle for Single or Multiple products in Vertical Solutions Key Areas of Responsibility Technical Functional Gets involved in Requirement reviews to ensure completeness of Deployment scenarios Use cases Testability aspects of Functional Non-Functional requirements using his her Domain Product Functional Test knowledge Works with the System Architect to mitigate the architectural risks of the program in early phases participates in design reviews to identify failure modes Develops Test Strategy to validate the Functional Non-Functional System level requirements Derives Regression Test Strategy based on Impact Analysis of fixed defects Prepares Test Strategy for 3rd party integrations dependant OS browser database compatibility tests Develops the Test effort estimates works together with the Project Lead to do Test Planning Develops Test Design for critical modules of the products and supports the Test Engineers in Test Design reviews Critical reviewer of the Developer Integration test cases and key person in the Test Turnover meetings Works with the Productivity Enablers Team to identify Test Automation Simulation requirements early in the life cycle support in execution of the same Works with the Program Manager Product Manager or Product Owner to identify Beta Site requirements supports in defect prioritization release readiness reviews along with the Project Lead Works with the Information Development team to give pointers on Technical Literature content development and is a critical reviewer of the same Provide debug support to Development Team to identify root causes of defects Business Acumen Participates in Observation Voice of Customer OVoC and in Concept reviews in early phases of Product Development Life Cycle as needed Stays up to date with happenings in the Industry Competition space of the relevant business verticals Qualifications Experience Knowledge Education Qualifications Bachelor or Masters of Engineering in Electronics Electrical Instrumentation or Mechanical Experience Should have hands on experience in installing commissioning maintenance of Building management HVAC systems Also should have used commissioning software tools to commission Commercial Security Systems Should have hands on experience with Tridium Niagara platform Tridium Niagara Technical Certification Program TCP certified would be an added advantage Should have hands on experience with BACnet MODBUS protocols Minimum of 3 years field experience in project engineering or installation commissioning in relevant industry space Atleast 1 years experience in Product Testing Senior Engineer role Strong domain product knowledge in relevant industry space Strong knowledge experience in Networks Non-Functional Testing aspects like Performance Capacity testing would be preferred Good knowledge of Microsoft OS Databases Good analytical thinking troubleshooting problem solving skills coupled with the drive to learn Professional Skills Knowledge Positive communication skills both verbal and written Self-motivated and the ability to work independently without supervision and sometimes under extreme pressure Prepared to work overtime as per project or business needs prepared to travel domestic or overseas as needed Ability to work together with different functional delivery teams Demonstrates Influencing skills to articulate independent Product Quality view Right level of Negotiation skills conflict management capability Honeywell helps organizations solve the world s most complex challenges in automation the future of aviation and energy transition As a trusted partner we provide actionable solutions and innovation through our Aerospace Technologies Building Automation Energy and Sustainability Solutions and Industrial Automation business segments - powered by our Honeywell Forge software - that help make the world smarter safer and more sustainable
