Job Title Design Engineer Experience 1-2 years Job Location Prabhadevi Mumbai Department Product Development 1 Create and develop 3D models technical drawings and CAD designs for injection-molded parts and assemblies 2 Assist in the design and optimization of mold tooling including considerations for material flow cooling and ejection 3 Work with mold makers and project engineers to validate and modify designs based on feedback from the prototyping and moulding process 4 Evaluate and select materials suitable for specific applications considering factors such as strength durability cost and manufacturability 5 Analyse design performance and conduct design reviews to ensure parts meet functional aesthetic and quality standards 6 Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the best solutions for tooling materials and part production 7 Support prototyping efforts and conduct tests to verify the design meets customer specifications and regulatory requirements 8 Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues during the production process 9 Provide technical documentation and support for manufacturing processes and production teams 10 Assist in process improvements and suggest ways to reduce cost while maintaining product quality 11 Work closely with cross-functional teams including manufacturing quality assurance and product management Qualifications 1 Bachelor s degree in mechanical engineering 2 Experienced in injection molding 3 Proficiency in CAD software SolidWorks 4 Knowledge of injection molding processes materials and tooling Working Conditions Occasional travel to manufacturing plants or suppliers may be required Job Type Full-time Pay 25 000 00 - 40 000 00 per month Perks Health insurance Provident Fund Work Location In person
