Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced AutoCAD Design QC Engineer to ensure the accuracy compliance and quality of solar system designs for U S -based residential and commercial PV projects The ideal candidate should have strong proficiency in AutoCAD and a solid understanding of U S solar design standards NEC AHJ requirements utility guidelines Key Responsibilities Design Quality Review Perform quality control checks on solar PV layout and electrical design drawings residential and commercial Ensure designs comply with applicable U S codes utility requirements and engineering best practices Cross-check site survey data structural layout and electrical configurations for accuracy AutoCAD Supervision Redlining Review and redline AutoCAD drawings to highlight issues deviations or required corrections Work closely with the design team to resolve inconsistencies or errors Compliance Documentation Verify adherence to NEC codes AHJ regulations fire setbacks conduit paths and racking standards Ensure all drawings include accurate annotations legends BOMs and electrical line diagrams Coordination Reporting Collaborate with U S design leads engineers and project managers Maintain QC tracking logs and provide timely feedback for design revisions and approvals Continuous Improvement Suggest process improvements for QC workflows Train junior designers on quality standards and AutoCAD best practices Required Skills Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Electrical Mechanical Civil Engineering or related field 2 years of experience in solar PV design and quality control Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with design tools like Helioscope Aurora Solar or PVsyst preferred Strong understanding of U S NEC codes AHJ and utility compliance Attention to detail and solid documentation skills Excellent communication skills in English written and verbal Preferred Qualifications Experience with U S -based residential or commercial solar projects Knowledge of permit drawing sets PV Permit Packages Familiarity with structural and electrical load calculations QA QC certification or training optional but desirable Job Type Full-time Pay 30 000 00 - 40 000 00 per month Benefits Provident Fund Schedule Night shift Work Location In person
