Job Title Safety Manager Department Health Safety Environment HSE Industry Automobile Engineering Manufacturing Location Saharapur U P Reporting To Plant Head HSE Head Job Purpose To ensure compliance with all safety regulations and implement safety management systems that minimize risks to employees equipment and the environment within the automobile manufacturing facility Key Responsibilities Develop implement and monitor company-wide safety policies procedures and programs Conduct regular safety inspections audits and risk assessments in manufacturing areas welding painting assembly lines etc Ensure adherence to all legal and regulatory safety requirements e g Factories Act ISO 45001 Investigate accidents incidents identify root causes and implement corrective preventive actions Train and educate employees on safety protocols use of PPE and emergency response procedures Lead the internal safety committee meetings and coordinate with department heads to enforce safety practices Develop and execute emergency preparedness and fire safety drills Coordinate with external agencies like pollution control boards fire departments and other statutory bodies Maintain all safety-related documentation and records Promote a culture of continuous improvement in workplace safety Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Engineering or Safety Management Diploma in Industrial Safety recognized by State Central Govt is mandatory Minimum 4-6 years of experience in industrial safety preferably in the automobile or heavy engineering industry Key Skills Competencies Strong knowledge of safety laws EHS standards and regulatory compliance Excellent communication leadership and interpersonal skills Proficiency in risk assessment tools and incident investigation methods Familiarity with ISO 14001 ISO 45001 OHSAS and other relevant standards Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 40 000 00 - 50 000 00 per month Perks Cell phone reimbursement Health insurance Internet reimbursement Leave encashment Life insurance Provident Fund Experience Safety and health officer 4 years Required Work Location In person
