Site Incharge - Motor Maintenance Location Bhilai Steel Plant Chhattisgarh Qualification B Tech in Electrical Engineering Experience Minimum 12 years in Motor Maintenance Salary Range 30 000 - 40 000 per month Position Overview The Site Incharge will oversee and manage all motor maintenance operations at the Bhilai Steel Plant site The role requires strong technical knowledge of electrical motors hands-on experience in preventive and breakdown maintenance and the ability to lead a maintenance team while ensuring safety and operational efficiency Key Roles and Responsibilities1 Maintenance Management Supervise and execute preventive predictive and breakdown maintenance of LT and HT motors Ensure timely inspection overhauling rewinding and testing of motors Monitor motor performance and diagnose faults vibration issues overheating insulation failures etc Coordinate with plant departments for shutdown planning and maintenance scheduling 2 Team Leadership Coordination Lead and guide the site maintenance team technicians and contractors Allocate daily work assignments and ensure completion within timelines Train team members on standard maintenance procedures and safety practices 3 Documentation Reporting Maintain daily maintenance records job completion reports motor history cards and inventory logs Prepare monthly maintenance reports and submit to management Track spare parts availability and coordinate procurement when required 4 Safety Compliance Ensure all maintenance activities follow plant safety standards and statutory guidelines Conduct regular safety inspections and toolbox talks with team Implement lock-out tag-out LOTO and other electrical safety protocols 5 Coordination with Client Management Act as the primary point of contact between the company and Bhilai Steel Plant officials Attend coordination meetings and address site-related issues Ensure smooth workflow and maintain client satisfaction Required Skills Strong technical expertise in electrical motor maintenance HT LT motors Ability to troubleshoot motor failures and implement corrective actions Good knowledge of maintenance standards safety procedures and plant operations Leadership team management and communication skills Ability to work under pressure and meet maintenance deadlines Job Types Full time Permanent Pay 30 000 00 - 40 000 00 per month Benefits Health insurance Paid sick time Provident Fund Work Location In person
