We are looking for an experienced Java engineer to enhance and scale our LIMS application This role focuses on optimizing Java code improving application performance and implementing scalable architecture using Azure services such as Application Gateway Load Balancers caching and queuing Technical Requirements 10 years of experience in Java development with strong expertise in Object-Oriented Programming and cloud-native design principles Proficiency in Spring Boot Quarkus or similar Java frameworks Hands-on experience in optimizing and scaling enterprise-level Java applications Strong knowledge of software security including identifying and resolving vulnerabilities Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs Proficiency in SQL databases with experience in query optimization Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks ReactJS or jQuery CSS3 and HTML5 Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure including - Compute Storage Database and Serverless services - Caching Azure Cache for Redis and Queuing Service Bus Event Grid etc - Application Gateway Load Balancer and scaling strategies - Monitoring and diagnostics Application Insights Log Analytics Experience with containerization Docker and orchestration Kubernetes Strong exposure to CI CD pipelines using Azure DevOps GitHub or Bitbucket Proficiency with Linux command line and system troubleshooting tools Robust understanding of application performance fault tolerance and high availability in production environments Excellent communication skills with the ability to document and present technical solutions effectively Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with distributed teams Other Requirements Include that Bachelor s degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field Self-motivated and passionate about technology innovation and continuous improvement Strong communication and collaboration skills with a team-oriented mindset High standards of professionalism integrity and accountability Good to have skills Experience with LIMS Laboratory Information Management Systems or LIS Laboratory Information System Experience with Python or Node js scripting for automation or integration tasks Experience refactoring legacy Java applications for scalability Masters in computer science or related field Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 100 000 00 - 3 200 000 00 per year Benefits Work from home Work Location Remote
