Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Indirect Tax Manager with a Chartered Accountant CA qualification to lead our indirect tax compliance and advisory function The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in GST VAT Customs and other indirect taxes along with excellent analytical and leadership skills to ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and optimize tax planning strategies Key Responsibilities Compliance Reporting Oversee preparation and filing of all indirect tax returns GST VAT Excise Service Tax Customs etc within statutory deadlines Ensure accurate tax accounting and reconciliation of tax ledgers Advisory Planning Provide strategic guidance on indirect tax implications for business transactions contracts and new projects Identify tax-saving opportunities while ensuring full compliance with laws Audit Litigation Manage indirect tax audits assessments and investigations by tax authorities Prepare and review responses to show-cause notices appeals and other litigation matters Process Controls Develop and implement internal controls and best practices for indirect tax compliance Monitor changes in tax laws and advise management on necessary actions Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with finance procurement and legal teams to ensure tax-efficient business operations Liaise with external consultants advisors and tax authorities as required Qualifications Skills Chartered Accountant CA qualification is mandatory 6-10 years of post-qualification experience in indirect taxation preferably in a multinational or large corporate setup Strong knowledge of GST VAT Excise Service Tax and Customs regulations Experience in handling tax audits assessments and litigation Proficiency in ERP systems SAP Oracle etc and MS Excel Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills Ability to lead a team and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines Job Type Full time Pay 472 339 48 - 1 938 309 42 per year Work Location In person
