- Sales Associate Position Overview A Sales Associate is responsible for assisting customers during the purchasing process ensuring a positive shopping experience and meeting sales targets They act as the face of the company helping customers find products answering questions and promoting items or services Key Responsibilities Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products or services Demonstrate product features and benefits to encourage purchases Maintain knowledge of current promotions discounts and product details Handle sales transactions including cash card or digital payments Achieve or exceed individual and store sales targets Keep the sales floor clean organized and well-stocked Build long-term relationships with customers through excellent service Handle customer complaints or escalate them to the manager when necessary Skills Qualifications Strong communication and interpersonal skills Basic knowledge of sales techniques and customer service Confidence in approaching and engaging with customers Ability to work in a team and meet targets High school diploma Bachelor s preferred in some industries Previous retail or sales experience preferred but not always required Work Environment Retail stores showrooms call centers or field sales Shifts may include evenings weekends and holidays Fast-paced setting requiring energy and a customer-first attitude Job Type Full-time Pay 18 000 00 - 28 000 00 per month
