Department Food Beverage - Restaurant Reports to Restaurant Manager Cafe Supervisor Job Summary The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee beverages and light snacks while ensuring excellent customer service The role requires knowledge of coffee brewing methods attention to detail and the ability to maintain a clean and welcoming environment Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve coffee tea and other beverages to restaurant standards Operate coffee machines grinders blenders and other equipment safely and efficiently Ensure consistency in taste quality and presentation of beverages Greet customers politely and assist them with menu choices and recommendations Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the workstation equipment and serving area Handle cash credit transactions if applicable and maintain billing accuracy Follow standard recipes and restaurant procedures for beverage preparation Stock and replenish coffee beans milk syrups and other supplies as required Comply with food safety and hygiene standards at all times Work closely with the service team to support smooth restaurant operations Qualifications Skills Prior experience as a Barista or in a cafe restaurant setting preferred Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques latte art and beverage preparation Good communication and customer service skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure Basic knowledge of hygiene and safety practices Flexibility to work in shifts including weekends and holidays Education High School Diploma in Hospitality or equivalent Barista training certification preferred not mandatory Job Type Full-time Pay 20 000 00 - 22 000 00 per month Benefits Adaptable schedule Food provided Work Location In person
