Job Title Fire and Safety Trainer Location Kollam Department Fire safety and occupational health training Job Summary The Fire and Safety Trainer is responsible for developing delivering and assessing fire safety and occupational health training programs This role ensures employees are properly educated on fire prevention emergency response use of firefighting equipment and compliance with local safety regulations The trainer promotes a culture of safety and preparedness across the organization or client sites Key Responsibilities Design and deliver fire safety and occupational health training courses for employees at all levels Conduct theoretical and practical sessions including fire drills evacuation procedures and equipment handling e g fire extinguishers alarms Evaluate training effectiveness and provide assessment reports and improvement recommendations Maintain records of all safety training sessions and employee certifications Perform risk assessments and assist in developing emergency response plans Coordinate with safety officers facility managers and external agencies fire departments civil defense etc Promote a strong safety culture by encouraging participation and awareness throughout the organization Support accident and incident investigations by identifying training-related gaps Provide refresher training and specialized sessions for high-risk areas or job roles Qualifications Skills Diploma Degree in Occupational Health Safety Fire Engineering or a related field Certification in Fire Safety First Aid or HSE e g NEBOSH IOSH NFPA OSHA is preferred Proven experience 1- 3years as a fire and safety trainer or in a similar safety training role Strong knowledge of local and international fire safety codes and emergency response procedures Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to lead live drills and use firefighting equipment effectively Preferred Traits Strong leadership and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to safety Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 25 000 00 - 30 000 00 per month Perks Cell phone reimbursement Internet reimbursement Work Location In person
