Key Responsibilities Translate customer needs and market trends into technical specifications for chassis features Engage in discussions with OEMs to align and finalize technical requirements Oversee the development and validation of chassis control systems Collaborate with engineering software vehicle integration and manufacturing teams to ensure system-level performance and quality Required Skill Set In-depth knowledge of chassis systems including suspension steering braking and vehicle dynamics Expertise in the architecture and integration of chassis control systems such as ABS ESC active suspension and steer-by-wire Experience in modeling simulation and validation of chassis systems using tools like MATLAB Simulink CarSim or Adams Solid understanding of vehicle dynamics ride and handling characteristics and their impact on safety and performance Hands-on experience in tuning and calibration of chassis control algorithms for a variety of driving conditions Familiarity with system-level testing methodologies including HIL Hardware-in-the-Loop SIL Software-in-the-Loop and vehicle-level validation Knowledge of ISO 26262 functional safety and automotive cybersecurity standards relevant to chassis systems Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including hardware software and test engineering across global locations Excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with interdisciplinary teams in different geographies
