Responsible for performing welding operations on ship structures hulls and components using various welding techniques such as SMAW MIG and TIG Ensures strong exact and defect-free welds in accordance with shipbuilding standards safety regulations and project specifications Key Responsibilities Read and interpret engineering drawings blueprints and welding symbols Carry out welding on steel and other metals used in ship construction and repair Operate welding equipment safely and maintain tools in good condition Perform quality checks and rectify weld defects as required Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment Qualification ITI Welder Diploma in Welding Technology Experience 2 years in shipbuilding or heavy fabrication preferred Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 18 000 00 - 25 000 00 per month Benefits Commuter assistance Health insurance Provident Fund Work Location In person
