To provide professional leadership and management in all Chemistry classes To support and develop the students to achieve excellent results holding them accountable for their progress To manage lead and develop the curriculum in order to secure high quality teaching the effective use of resources and improved standards of learning and achievement of all students Key Responsibilities - Responsible to lead and manage the chemistry teaching staff at the school - Develop and deliver engaging and rigorous lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards for secondary-level chemistry education - To oversee students work within chemistry and ensure that learning experiences offered to students are high quality appropriate and relevant to their needs - To continually review and develop the range of learning experiences offered to students - To keep informed of curriculum developments relevant to the subject - To ensure that students work is regularly assessed and progress monitored and that accurate records of progress are kept - To ensure that profiles and progress reports are written on all students by published deadlines and that these conform to school policy - To provide regular feedback for chemistry teaching staff in a way which recognises positive practice and supports their progress - To supervise laboratory experiments and its demonstrations to scientific concepts - Utilize a variety of instructional strategies resources and technology to enhance student learning and engagement in the study of chemistry - Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and experimentation while emphasizing the importance of laboratory safety protocols - Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary connections and integrate chemistry concepts with other subjects fostering a holistic understanding of science and its real-world applications - Required Qualifications Skills Educational Qualification Experience Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in a ICSE school in chemistry in school Skills Bachelors Master s Degree in Chemistry Thorough knowledge of teaching best practices Excellent communication Leadership and interpersonal skills Well organized and committed to creating a positive learning environment Creative energetic and possessing strong moral values and discipline Compensation to be offered between 50 000 to 60 000 per based on Interview Incase if interested kindly email your resume at hr gssis gsinternationalschool com with your current CTC ETC and notice period Job Type Permanent Pay 50 000 00 - 60 000 00 per month Benefits Paid time off Ability to commute relocate Bhandup Mumbai Maharashtra Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work Preferred Education Bachelor s Preferred Language English Preferred Work Location In person
