Job Purpose We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Data Engineer to support data-driven decision-making across the organization The role involves working with large datasets from DealCloud and other sources identifying trends and patterns and collaborating with visualization and AI teams A key focus will be supporting Snowflake integration and building scalable data pipelines Desired Skills and experienceCandidates should have a B E B Tech MCA MBA in Information Systems Computer Science or a related field 6-8 years of qualified experience in data engineering or related roles Strong proficiency in SQL for data manipulation optimization and query performance tuning Hands-on experience with Snowflake including schema design data loading and performance optimization Experience working with DealCloud or similar CRM data platforms Proficiency in Python for data processing automation and API integration Familiarity with ETL ELT tools such as Apache Airflow dbt Talend or Informatica Experience with cloud platforms AWS Azure GCP and their data services e g S3 Azure Data Factory BigQuery Knowledge of data warehousing and data lake architecture Strong understanding of data modeling data governance and data security practices Experience with Power BI or similar visualization tools for dashboard development and reporting Familiarity with version control systems e g Git and CI CD pipelines Excellent problem-solving analytical thinking and communication skills Familiarity with Snowflake and cloud-based data warehousing Strong understanding of data modeling and analytics Experience working with enterprise platforms like Deal Cloud is a plus Ability to work independently Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze large and complex datasets from DealCloud and other enterprise sources Identify trends patterns and anomalies to support strategic decision-making Design build and maintain robust ETL ELT pipelines for Snowflake and other data platforms Collaborate with Power BI specialists to ensure seamless data visualization and reporting Develop and optimize data models and storage solutions using Snowflake Ensure data quality integrity and security across all stages of the data lifecycle Automate data workflows and support real-time data processing where applicable Work closely with cross-functional teams including business analysts product managers and data scientists Behavioral CompetenciesEffectively communicate with business and technology partners peers and stakeholders Ability to deliver results under demanding timelines to real-world business problems Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively Identify and communicate areas for improvement Demonstrate high attention to detail should work in a dynamic environment whilst maintaining high quality standards a natural aptitude to develop good internal working relationships and a flexible work ethic Responsible for Quality Checks and adhering to the agreed Service Level Agreement SLA Turn Around Time TAT
