where your ideas will be heard - this is the place for you BMC s SaaS Ops team is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join us and design develop and implement complex applications using the latest technologies Here is how through this exciting role YOU will contribute to BMC s and your own success Network Design and Implementation Design implement and maintain scalable secure and high-performance network infrastructure Develop and enforce network architecture standards policies and procedures Oversee network upgrades expansions and migrations to new technologies Network Performance and Security Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and reliability Implement and manage network security measures including firewalls VPNs intrusion detection systems and other security protocols Perform regular security assessments and vulnerability testing Troubleshooting and Support Oversee the resolution of complex network issues and escalations Provide third-level support for network-related incidents and problems Ensure timely and effective troubleshooting to minimize downtime Project Management Plan and manage network projects from conception through implementation Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery Maintain project documentation and report on progress to senior management Vendor Management Manage relationships with network equipment vendors and service providers Evaluate and recommend new network technologies and solutions Oversee procurement and maintenance of network hardware and software Documentation and Reporting Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations procedures and policies Prepare and present reports on network performance security and project status Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements To ensure you re set up for success you will bring the following skillset experience Minimum of 8 years of experience in network engineering Cisco Certified Network Skilled CCNP Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert CCIE certification required Domain Name System DNS knowledge is mandate Strong knowledge of network protocols architecture and security Experience in configuring and managing BGP Routing IPsec Tunnels VPC VCN subnets TGW DRG security group Fast connect Direct Connect Experience with network design implementation and troubleshooting in large-scale environments Proficiency in configuring and managing network devices such as Cisco routers switches ASA Firepower firewalls and F5 load balancers Proficiency in configuring and managing cloud technologies such as AWS Oracle and Google Cloud GCP Experience in data capture and analyze using Wireshark Tcpdump Proficiency in configuration and managing SSL certificates and Cipher security lists Experience in working with F5 LTM GTM and iRules Extensive Knowledge of scripting and automation tools Python Ansible and Terraform Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools Industry certifications such as CCNP CCIE or equivalent are highly desirable Excellent leadership communication and project management skills Our
