Project Role Cloud Platform Engineer Project Role Description Designs builds tests and deploys cloud application solutions that integrate cloud and non-cloud infrastructure Can deploy infrastructure and platform environments creates a proof of architecture to test architecture viability security and performance Must have skills Oracle Database Administration DBA Good to have skills Oracle Exadata Database Machine Exadata Administration Minimum 3 year s of experience is required Educational Qualification 15 years full time education Summary As a Cloud Platform Engineer you will engage in the design construction testing and deployment of cloud application solutions that seamlessly integrate both cloud and non-cloud infrastructures Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that the architecture is viable secure and performs optimally while also creating proofs of concept to validate your designs You will be responsible for deploying infrastructure and platform environments ensuring that all components work together effectively to meet organizational goals and client needs Your role will require a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement in cloud technologies Roles Responsibilities oNeed to work directly with Project stakeholder to understand the requirement and the feasibility analysis oGood understanding system database design implementation troubleshooting and maintenance oShould have knowledge in multi- tenant architecture RAC Datagurad and at least one cloud technology certification Preferred oProvide guidance and support to Application Developers during performance impact oImpact assessment during any critical activity oProactively and regularly make recommendations for system improvements oCollate prepare and present statistical information for internal and external use Professional Technical Skills o Strong understanding on the entire Exadata landscape in terms of Hardware Landscape and the RACK o Strong knowledge on KVM kernel Virtual Machine o Container database provision and CDB PDB management o Strong knowledge on Key Oracle Exadata features Smartscan Flashcache HCC o System health management using Exachk Sundiag o Storage Capacity planning with effective database management o Full stack patch plan and apply o ASR setup and management o IORM and DBRM configuration and setup o ILOM and PDU management o Faulty Memory Disk replacement o Valuable experiences in RAC data guard backup recovery upgrade Performance tuning and cloud control o Should have over all infrastructural architectural overview o Strong communication with analytical and problem solving mind to connect with the customers o To support the subordinates in both technical behavioural competencies o Need to take leadership during any critical issue or outage Additional Information - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration DBA - This position is based at our Kolkata office or Bangalore - A 15 years full time education is required 15 years full time education
