Job Title Design Engineer - Steel Structures Location Calicut Kerala Experience Required 8 Years Salary 60 000 - 90 000 per month based on experience and skills Company Overview We are a reputed steel fabrication and construction company based in Calicut specializing in structural steel works industrial sheds and custom steel projects We are looking for a young and passionate Design Engineer to join our team and contribute to cutting-edge and technically sound structural solutions Key Responsibilities Develop detailed 2D and 3D structural steel designs using AutoCAD Tekla or similar software Create fabrication drawings layout plans and structural detailing Collaborate with project engineers and site teams to ensure design feasibility and accuracy Assist in the preparation of BOMs Bill of Materials and material take-offs Modify existing designs as per project requirements or site feedback Ensure that all design work adheres to industry codes and safety standards Maintain project documentation and update design revisions Requirements Bachelor s Diploma in Mechanical Civil Engineering or equivalent 1-2 years of hands-on experience in steel structure design or detailing Proficiency in AutoCAD knowledge of Tekla Structures STAAD Pro or similar tools is a plus Strong understanding of steel fabrication processes and structural elements Good communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented workplace Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset What We Offer Competitive salary package Exposure to a variety of steel structure projects Professional growth and training opportunities Friendly and supportive work environment in Calicut Job Type Full-time Pay 60 000 00 - 80 000 00 per month Benefits Food provided
