Job Summary Arieckal Industries is an engineering company engaged in developing and manufacturing of products We have been in business since 1983 and have been supplying our products to the Indian Navy and Indian Railways for the past 25 years Our office and factory is located in Panvel Industrial Cooperative Estate Panvel Navi Mumbai Currently we are a team of 14 engineers technicians and we are looking to expand this team further to meet our growth aspirations Arieckal Industries has designed and manufactured flood alarm systems for the Indian Navy and dome fittings valves for LPG rail tankers for the Indian Railways We now want to expand our product portfolio and are looking to build a strong design team who will help us put together a pipeline of high quality products for the coming five years We are looking for design engineers with 0-2 years of work experience in Solidworks He She will report to the Senior Design Engineer He She will handle product development right from conceptualization to design to production to testing and delivering of final products The position therefore requires coordination with clients design team production team marketing team and suppliers Responsibilities and Duties 1 Interact with clients marketing team to understand the product requirements 2 With the assistance of the senior design engineer design the product using Solidworks etc 3 Coordinate with the production department to finalize product design and complete production 4 Interact with suppliers to finalize on material requirements at the design and production stage 5 Defining and executing quality control measures to ensure production is as per standards defined 6 Project planning and execution to ensure timely delivery of products 7 Responsible for interacting with clients and getting product approvals 8 Responsible for getting internal and external product inspection approvals Key Skills Proficient in design using Solidworks Good communication Skills Should be able to communicate in English spoken and written Should take initiative Should be able to collaborate with teams in the organization Required Experience and Qualifications 1 Mechanical Engineer Diploma ITI or any relevant certification course 2 Should have at least 0-2 years of work experience in designing products on Solidworks 3 Should have previously executed product development projects right from conceptualization to design to manufacture testing and client approvals 4 Should be certified in Solidworks 5 Candidates staying in close proximity to PANVEL will be preferred Job Type Full time Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 15 000 00 - 18 000 00 per month Schedule Day shift Supplemental Pay Performance bonus Education Diploma Preferred Experience Mechanical design 2 years Preferred Work Location In person
