Job Summary
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated to assess, plan, and provide physiotherapy interventions for children with developmental delays, neurological conditions, hearing impairment with associated disabilities, cerebral palsy, autism, intellectual disabilities, and other physical challenges. The candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to enhance the functional independence and quality of life of beneficiaries.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess children's physical, motor, and functional abilities.
- Develop individualized physiotherapy treatment plans based on assessment findings.
- Conduct one-on-one and group therapy sessions.
- Improve gross motor skills, balance, coordination, posture, strength, and mobility.
- Train parents and caregivers on home exercise programs and positioning techniques.
- Monitor progress and modify treatment plans as required.
- Maintain accurate assessment reports, treatment notes, and progress documentation.
- Collaborate with special educators, occupational therapists, speech therapists, psychologists, and other professionals.
- Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and parent counselling sessions.
- Assist in organizing awareness programs, therapy camps, and community outreach activities.
- Ensure therapy equipment is maintained and used safely.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (BPT) or Master's Degree (MPT) in Physiotherapy.
- Valid registration with the State Physiotherapy Council (if applicable).
- Freshers are welcome to apply. Experience working with children with disabilities is an added advantage.
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of pediatric physiotherapy.
- Understanding of developmental milestones and neurological conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a child-friendly approach.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Good documentation and report-writing skills.
- Basic computer skills (MS Office).
Preferred Experience
- Experience in NGOs, rehabilitation centres, hospitals, or special schools is preferred.
- Exposure to children with cerebral palsy, autism, intellectual disabilities, Down syndrome, and developmental delays is desirable.

- 9 to 6 PM
