Production Engineer

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, organize, and monitor daily production activities.
- Analyze production processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality.
- Identify and troubleshoot production issues to minimize downtime.
- Develop and implement process improvements using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure machinery and equipment are operating efficiently.
- Prepare production schedules and ensure targets are achieved.
- Monitor production performance and prepare reports on output, quality, and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to maintain product quality standards.
- Manage material usage and reduce waste through process optimization.
- Support new product development and process validation activities.
- Train production staff on new procedures, equipment,



and safety practices.
- Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production setting
- (entry-level candidates may also be considered).
- Knowledge of production planning and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
