Key Performance Area:

- Conduct feasibility study within the stipulated time on receipt of the RFQ.
- Work with the marketing team to prepare costing and update BOM.
- Analyze new components, materials, and technologies to evaluate functionalities for all new product development.
- Prepare comprehensive project plans with technical objectives and detailed cost estimates.
- On receipt of ECN from the customer, review feasibility and update BOM.
- CFT Meeting for the ECN and review WIP.
- Business realization for new parts of existing customers (excluding parts replacing current business)
- Business realization from new customers (excluding parts replacing current business)
- Analyze product cost and prepare schedule plans for effective implementation of projects.
- Prepare and approve product design and test plans, review design and recommend adequate changes to the approved models before actual role out of current products.
- Approve prototypes of new designs, conduct performance analysis of prototypes, and ensure assemblage of products follow company’s quality parameters.
- Document records for all project proposal and associated activities.
- Ensure to deliver first time right products or parts, eliminate rework to improve quality standards and reduce cost.
- Standardize drawings wherever required.
- SAP input must be done for part number creation within the timeline.




- Aim and achieve accurate BOM.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment with a focus on technical excellence, responsiveness to customers and innovative thinking is required.
- Effective communication with the team and the customer.
- Able to fix design issues and find a resolution as quickly as possible.
- Effective team player.
- Experience in 3D Modelling Software like AutoCAD or SolidWorks is a must.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Automobile, or Industrial Engineering.
- Proven experience in product design and development, prototyping, or R&D.;
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, etc.).
- Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and quality standards.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and problem-solving mindset.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
