Position Details:

- Contract Duration: Initial 3-month contract with potential extension

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Python Backend Developer with experience in building scalable APIs using FastAPI. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, InfluxDB, and MQTT-based communication. You will be responsible for developing high-performance backend services, integrating IoT devices, managing time-series data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain REST APIs using Python and FastAPI.
- Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases for high-performance applications.
- Work with InfluxDB for storing and querying time-series data.
- Implement MQTT-based communication for IoT devices and real-time messaging.
- Integrate backend services with third-party APIs and applications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and QA teams.

Required Skills (Mandatory):

- Strong proficiency in Python
- Hands-on experience with FastAPI
- Good knowledge of PostgreSQL database design and optimization
- Experience with InfluxDB or other time-series databases




- Working knowledge of MQTT protocol and MQTT brokers (Mosquitto, EMQX, HiveMQ)
- Experience with RESTful API development
- Familiarity with Git version control
- Understanding of Docker and containerized deployments
- Basic knowledge of Linux environments

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with Celery and Redis
- Knowledge of WebSockets for real-time applications
- Familiarity with Azure or AWS
- Understanding of IoT architectures and edge device communication
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of professional experience in Python backend development.
