Overview
At its core, the iTeach School Leader Academy (SLA) is a five-month intensive School Leadership development program designed to fast-track the journey of equity-focused leaders into school leadership roles. This program equips participants with the skills, mindsets, and practical experience needed to serve as transformative School Leaders in low-income, underserved communities - immediately upon graduation.
Who is the iTeach School Leader Academy for? What are the eligibility criteria?
A) Have worked full time in a school or school-centric setting for at least 3–5 years.
B) Are currently serving as a leader or mid-level manager in any school-centric setting.For eg, as a Program Manager, Instructional Specialist, Lead Teacher or Assistant School Leader/Vice-Principal.
C) Educational mission-driven leadership is non-negotiable for you.You are deeply committed to serving in underserved communities.
D) Looking to fast-track your journey into a larger school leadership role within the next two years.
A key highlight of the program is the Summer School Practicum (May 2027), where you will be in Pune in person for three weeks, leading a school and applying the leadership competencies you learned through SLA in a real-world setting.

Program Enrollment Fee
- The program fee is highly subsidized at INR 25,000, with the bulk of costs covered by our donor partners.
- This fee can be paid by your employer school network / organization as part of their investment in your training or can be paid out-of-pocket by participants.
Please note: In the upcoming application form, please feel free to mark optional fields (like current and expected salary) as NA, we do not need this information for the School Leader Academy application.
