The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and supporting the business with budgeting, compliance, and financial analysis. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced SME environment and enjoys taking ownership of multiple accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily accounting transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and reconciliations.
- Process bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Prepare and file tax returns, GST/VAT, payroll taxes, and other statutory filings as required.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and local financial regulations.
- Process payroll and maintain employee payroll records.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.
- Monitor expenses and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Maintain accurate financial documentation and records.
- Assist management with financial analysis and business decision-making.

Qualifications





- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent certification is an advantage but not required.
- 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in an SME workplace.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, MYOB, or similar.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with budgeting and cash flow forecasting.
- Knowledge of payroll processing.
- Experience with inventory accounting is a plus.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a small team.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
