About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a reputed multi-specialty hospital. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth functioning of all hospital departments, enhance operational efficiency, improve patient experience, and drive coordination across clinical and non-clinical teams. This role will oversee all hospital operations except the Purchase function.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee the overall day-to-day operations of the hospital, excluding the Purchase department.
- Ensure seamless coordination between clinical and non-clinical departments to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Monitor and improve operational efficiency, patient flow, and service delivery across the hospital.
- Supervise departments such as Front Office, Nursing Coordination, Housekeeping, Security, Biomedical, Engineering, Facility Management, Billing, and Patient Services.
- Develop and implement operational policies, SOPs, and process improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with NABH standards, statutory regulations, and hospital quality protocols.
- Monitor departmental performance through KPIs and implement corrective actions where required.




- Handle patient grievances and ensure timely resolution to maintain a high level of patient satisfaction.
- Coordinate with department heads to optimize manpower utilization and operational planning.
- Prepare operational reports and present performance updates to hospital leadership.

Key Requirements

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, MBA (Healthcare), or a related field.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in hospital operations, with experience in a leadership or managerial role.
- Strong understanding of hospital workflows, NABH standards, quality systems, and healthcare regulations.
- Proven experience in managing multiple departments and leading cross-functional teams.
- Excellent leadership, decision-making, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare setting and effectively manage operational challenges.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Experience working in a multi-specialty or tertiary care hospital.
- Strong people management and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Hands-on experience in process improvement, hospital administration, and patient experience initiatives.
- Ability to drive operational excellence while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
