Job Description – Sales Executive

Job Summary

The Sales Executive is responsible for generating new business opportunities, developing client relationships, conducting client meetings, and successfully closing deals for the company’s engineering services and industrial solutions. This role requires both office-based and field sales activities. The candidate must be willing to travel for client meetings, site visits, and business development activities whenever required.

Key Responsibilities

- Generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, references, digital platforms, and market research.
- Identify and approach potential clients in industrial, manufacturing, EPC, infrastructure, and corporate sectors.
- Schedule and attend client meetings to understand customer requirements and present the company’s products and services.
- Travel to client locations for meetings, presentations, site visits, and business discussions whenever required.
- Convert client meetings into successful business opportunities by understanding customer needs, addressing concerns, negotiating commercial terms, and closing deals.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets by successfully converting leads into confirmed orders.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Prepare and coordinate quotations, commercial proposals, and technical documents with the internal team.
- Follow up regularly on enquiries, quotations, negotiations, and pending approvals until the deal is successfully closed.
- Coordinate with the Tender, Purchase, Project, and Finance departments for smooth project execution after order confirmation.




- Ensure timely collection of customer payments by coordinating with the Finance Department.
- Maintain complete and accurate records of leads, client meetings, follow-ups, opportunities, and sales activities in the CRM/ERP system.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to identify new business opportunities.
- Submit Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Sales Reports to the Sales Manager.
- Represent the company professionally during client interactions, exhibitions, networking events, and business meetings.
- Follow all company policies, sales processes, and skilled ethics.

Experience

- 1–3 years of experience in B2B Sales, Industrial Sales, Engineering Services, Manufacturing, EPC, Electrical, Mechanical, or Infrastructure industries.
- Freshers with excellent communication, confidence, and a passion for field sales may also apply.
