Job Description:

MGT is currently seeking a strong and passionate engineer to join our R&D; team. As a R&D; engineer focused on finite element analysis (FEA), you will
1. Generate FEA/ simulation models of mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and systems. Analyse static, dynamic, structural, and thermal-mechanical behaviour during different operating conditions
2. Collaborate with others in the design team to refine and optimize designs of existing and upcoming products based on FEA analysis.
3. Recommend and drive equipment characterization and test procedures to validate model results and support modelling efforts
4. Adopt consistent modelling practices and help continuously improve simulation best practices within the company.
5. Support root-cause analysis and problem solving in collaboration with others to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges
6. Be passionate to learn simulation best practices from industry and academia and adopt them in one's own work
7. Contribute to developing world-class precision manufacturing machinery in India by closely collaborating and brainstorming with other engineers

Requirements:

1. Proficient in use of any standard FEA software (Ansys, Altair, Abaqus, etc.) and understanding of FEA workflows (geometry simplification, meshing, model definition, post processing, refinement,



etc.)
2. Should have solid fundamentals in solid mechanics, mechanics of materials, numerical methods, and engineering design.
3. Experience using of any CAD package for 3D design.
4. Experience with CAD and FEA software tools(any).
5. Experience in static, dynamic, thermal-mechanical simulations on practical industrial or research problems
7. Valuable verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate technical subjects depending on audience.
8. Strong collaborative mind-set to work with internal and external stakeholders in a fast-paced environment to meet project deliverables and timelines.
