- Role: Retail Store Supervisor
- Reporting To: Operations Manager / Management
- Key Responsibilities
- Store Operations
- * Visit all assigned retail stores as per the scheduled route.
- * Ensure smooth day-to-day operations across every outlet.
- * Monitor store opening and closing procedures.
- * Verify stock availability and report shortages.
- * Ensure proper product display, merchandising, and shelf arrangement.
- * Check pricing accuracy and promotional material implementation.
- Store Cleanliness & Hygiene
- * Ensure every store maintains high standards of cleanliness.
- * Monitor floor, shelves, counters, storage areas, washrooms, and entrance cleanliness.
- * Ensure dusting, mopping, and sanitization are completed as per schedule.
- * Report maintenance issues immediately.
- * Ensure pest control and hygiene practices are followed.
- Customer Service
- * Observe customer interactions and service quality.
- * Ensure customers are greeted and attended promptly.
- * Resolve customer concerns whenever possible.
- * Maintain a friendly and professional shopping experience.
- * Encourage repeat customers through excellent service.
- Customer Feedback Management
- * Collect customer feedback regularly.
- * Record complaints, suggestions, and appreciation.
- * Share feedback with management.
- * Follow up to ensure complaints are resolved.
- * Identify recurring customer issues and recommend improvements.
- Staff Supervision
- * Monitor employee attendance and punctuality.
- * Ensure staff wear proper uniforms and maintain grooming standards.
- * Guide staff on customer handling and sales etiquette.

- Hospitality Standards
- * Ensure customers receive a warm welcome.
- * Maintain polite communication at all times.
- * Ensure stores provide a comfortable shopping workplace.
- * Encourage staff to assist customers proactively.
- * Monitor overall customer satisfaction.
- Sales & Performance
- * Monitor daily sales performance.
- * Identify slow-moving products.
- * Suggest promotional activities to increase sales.
- * Ensure staff actively promote offers and new products.
- * Track store-wise performance and improvement areas.
- Inventory & Stock Monitoring
- * Verify physical stock regularly.
- * Report damaged, expired, or near-expiry products.
- * Ensure FIFO practices are followed.
- * Coordinate with warehouse for stock replenishment.
- * Reduce stock losses and wastage.
- Compliance & Documentation
- * Complete store inspection checklists during every visit.
- * Submit daily visit reports with photographs.
- * Maintain records of customer feedback and corrective actions.
- * Ensure company SOPs are followed consistently.
- * Report any policy violations immediately.
- Continuous Improvement
- * Recommend operational improvements for each store.
- * Monitor implementation of management decisions.
- * Identify opportunities to improve customer experience.
- * Support new store launches and promotional campaigns.
- * Ensure consistency in standards across all retail outlets.
