Role Overview

We are seeking a creative and technically skilled Textile Designer specializing in mattress ticking fabrics and surface development. The designer will be responsible for creating creative fabric concepts for knitted and woven mattress fabrics, developing print and embroidery surfaces, and translating market trends into commercially viable designs for mattress and bedding applications.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop innovative mattress ticking designs for knitted and woven fabrics.

· Create pattern structures, textures, and motifs suitable for mattress surfaces.

· Develop surface designs including prints, embroidery patterns, and decorative textures.

· Translate market trends, color stories, and textures into commercially viable fabric collections.

· Collaborate with knitting, processing, and product development teams to ensure designs are production compatible.

· Assist in developing new knit structures, textures, and surface finishes.

· Prepare digital artwork and CAD files for knitting, printing, and embroidery applications.

· Support sales and marketing teams with design presentations and custom fabric proposals.

· Participate in design development for trade shows, product launches, and customer presentations.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s Degree in Textile Design / Knitwear Design / Fashion Design (Institutes such as NIFT, NIFT-TEA, NID or equivalent).

Pay: ₹10,719.44 - ₹75,000.00 per month
