About the Role

We are looking for a Mid-Level BASE24-eps Developer with hands-on experience in payment systems and transaction processing. In this role, you will develop, configure, test, and support solutions on the BASE24-eps platform while working on high-volume, real-time financial transaction systems. You will collaborate with technical teams to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable payment solutions across banking and financial services.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Analyze business and technical requirements related to payment processing systems.
- Design, develop, and enhance applications on the BASE24-eps platform.
- Develop and maintain applications using C++ and object-oriented programming principles.
- Build and maintain Linux/Unix scripts for automation and operational support.
- Configure institutions, terminals, routing rules, products, and transaction processing parameters.
- Implement and support ISO 8583 financial messaging requirements.
- Work on authorization, reversal, advice, timeout, and store-and-forward transaction flows.
- Develop and maintain integrations with payment networks, core banking platforms, fraud systems, reconciliation systems, HSMs, ATMs, and POS devices.
- Perform unit, integration, functional, and regression testing.
- Analyze logs, journals, and transaction traces to troubleshoot production issues.




- Provide application support and participate in deployment and release activities.
- Collaborate with QA, Infrastructure, Security, Operations, and Business teams.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, knowledge-sharing sessions, and production support rotations.

Required Skills

- 3+ years of software development or transaction processing experience.
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience with BASE24-eps.
- Strong knowledge of C++ and Object-Oriented Programming.
- Experience working with Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.
- Good understanding of ISO 8583 messaging standards.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Familiarity with Git and software release processes.
- Experience supporting high-availability payment applications.
- Robust troubleshooting and incident analysis skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or other payment networks.
- Knowledge of EMV, contactless payments, and tokenization.
- Experience with HSMs, cryptography, and PCI DSS.
- Exposure to IBM MQ/WebSphere MQ, REST APIs, and middleware.
- Experience with DB2, PostgreSQL, IBM Z, IBM Power, HPE NonStop, or Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
- Banking, acquiring, or financial services domain experience.

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant experience with BASE24-eps and payment systems will also be considered.
