Job Location - Mumbai (Candidates should be willing to travel across project sites within Mumbai.)

Working Schedule

- Site Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM (or as per project/site requirements)
- Weekly Offs: 4 holidays per month

About the Role

SM Associates is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Site Engineer to oversee the execution of interior fit-out projects across Mumbai. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on site experience, strong coordination skills, and the ability to ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and within quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise day-to-day execution of interior fit-out works at project sites.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and skilled labour to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor site progress and ensure work is completed as per drawings, specifications, and project timelines.
- Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality standards and workmanship.
- Plan and manage material requirements, deliveries, and site inventory.
- Prepare daily progress reports and update project status to the reporting manager.




- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Identify and resolve on-site execution issues in coordination with the project team.
- Verify measurements and quantities for billing and material reconciliation.
- Attend client and consultant meetings whenever required.
- Ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality and cost efficiency.

Required Skills

- Good understanding of interior fit-out execution and finishing works.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior drawings.
- Knowledge of materials, finishes, and interior construction practices.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Problem-solving attitude with attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel will be an added advantage.

Eligibility

- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in interior execution/site engineering.
- Must be a resident of Mumbai.
- Should be willing to travel across project sites within Mumbai.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.
