We are seeking an AWS Cloud Migration Architect to lead to end-to-end migration of on premises and legacy workloads to Amazon Web Services, ensuring minimal downtime, security, and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess existing infrastructure and applications for cloud readiness
- Define migration strategies (re-host, re-platform, re-factor)
- Design target AWS architectures for migrated workloads
- Lead data, application, and infrastructure migrations
- Ensure security, compliance, performance, and cost optimization post-migration Collaborate with app, infra, and DevOps teams during migration waves
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Robust experience with AWS migration services (AWS MGN, DMS, SMS)
- Hands-on knowledge of EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS, S3, and networking
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation)
- Understanding of OS, databases, and application stacks
- AWS Solutions Architect certification (preferred)
Experience:
- 5+ years in infrastructure/cloud roles
- 23+ years leading cloud migration projects
