We are hiring for Mechanical Maintenance Engineer-OSD Plant-Chennai.

Role & responsibilities

Mechanical Engineer with 6-7 years of experience in OSD manufacturing and packing machinery maintenance.

Must be experienced with tablet compression, coating, granulation, blister/bottle/ packing and liquid lines lines (e.g., ACG, Gansons).

Hands-on knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance in a GMP-regulated facility is essential.

Should be proficient in QMS documentation deviations, change controls, CAPA, and maintenance documentation.

Working knowledge of USFDA/WHO GMP norms and any time audit readiness required.

Should support equipment qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) and validation processes.

Basic understanding of utility systems (compressed air, vacuum, chilled water) is preferred.

Experience with SAP PM or similar maintenance management software is desirable.

Robust troubleshooting, shift handling, and cross-functional coordination skills required.

Experience in inventory control and critical spares management with cost-effective planning is required.
