Job Description: Senior Oracle Cloud Functional Consultant (SCM, MFG & Procurement)

- Role: Senior Oracle Cloud Functional Consultant Support Engagement
- Location: WFO/ Hybrid
- Shift Timings: 4:30 PM to 1:30 AM IST (Dedicated Late-Evening Shift)
- Experience: 6 to 10+ years of overall Oracle ERP experience, with a minimum of 3+ years of hands-on Oracle Cloud (Fusion) implementation or support experience.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled, self-reliant Senior Oracle Cloud Functional Consultant to join our application support team. This role requires a unique blend of cross-functional expertise spanning Supply Chain Management (SCM), Manufacturing (MFG), and Procurement modules.

Operating on a dedicated late-evening shift (up to 1:30 AM IST), you will provide critical support overlap for our global business operations. You will be responsible for independently driving Level 2 and Level 3 issue resolution, managing critical period-close activities, and interacting directly with business stakeholders during their peak working hours.

Key Responsibilities

1. Application Support & Ticket Resolution

- Provide robust functional support for Oracle Cloud SCM, Manufacturing, and Procurement modules.
- Triage, investigate, and resolve complex L2/L3 tickets, system exceptions, and data mismatches.
- Perform root-cause analysis for recurring operational issues and propose permanent functional fixes or workarounds.

2. Month-End & Period-Close Operations

- Own and facilitate smooth subledger period-close activities for Inventory and Cost Management.
- Monitor,



troubleshoot, and resolve errors in scheduled processes, automated interfaces, and batch jobs during the shift.

3. Working with Oracle

- Log, manage, and aggressively drive Oracle Service Requests (SRs) to resolve standard application bugs.
- Analyze the impact of Oracle’s quarterly patches on existing SCM/MFG/Procurement setups and assist with regression testing.

4. Stakeholder Engagement

- Act as the primary point of contact for business users during the late shift.
- Lead technical bridge calls and provide clear, concise updates on high-priority (Severity 1 & 2) operational issues.

Functional & Technical Requirements

- Oracle Cloud SCM: Deep configuration and troubleshooting knowledge of Inventory Management, Product Information Management (PIM), Order Management (OM), and Cost Management.
- Oracle Cloud Manufacturing: Hands-on experience with Discrete and process Manufacturing setups, Work Order execution, and routing configurations.
- Oracle Cloud Procurement: Solid expertise in Core Purchasing, Self-Service Procurement, Supplier Portal, and Sourcing.
- Cross-Module Flows: Thorough understanding of integrated flows.
- Reporting Tools: Ability to use OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence) and BI Publisher to build basic queries for data validation and troubleshooting.

Soft Skills & Shift Requirements

- Must be fully committed to a permanent shift ending at 1:30 AM IST.
- Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills to confidently interface with global business leaders.
