Role & responsibilities

- Supervise all Work at Height (WAH) activities and ensure compliance with statutory requirements, client safety standards, and company HSE procedures.
- Conduct pre-work inspections and verify that all scaffolding systems are erected, modified, and dismantled in accordance with approved designs and safety standards.
- Inspect scaffolds, ladders, mobile towers, platforms, guardrails, lifelines, anchorage points, and fall protection systems before use.
- Issue, verify, and monitor Work at Height Permits (PTW) and ensure all required controls are in place before work begins.
- Ensure 100% compliance with the use of certified Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including full-body harnesses, double lanyards, SRLs, helmets with chin straps, and other fall protection equipment.
- Perform daily inspections of fall arrest systems, rescue kits, anchorage points, connectors, lifelines, and scaffolding tags.




- Ensure all scaffolds are properly tagged (Green, Yellow, Red) and maintain scaffold inspection registers.
- Coordinate with scaffold erection teams to ensure safe access, proper bracing, decking, toe boards, guardrails, and secure load limits.
- Conduct Toolbox Talks (TBTs) and safety briefings on work at height, scaffolding safety, fall protection, dropped object prevention, and emergency response.
- Verify competency and certifications of scaffolders, riggers, rescuers, and personnel involved in work at height.
- Monitor work at height activities continuously and stop unsafe work whenever hazardous conditions are observed.
- Identify hazards, conduct Job Safety Analysis (JSA)/Risk Assessment, and implement effective control measures before commencing work.
