Lead manage the end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) process with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. The role aims to enhance operational efficiency through automation, ensure tax and audit adherence, foster strong stakeholder relationships, and build a capable, motivated team for sustainable process excellence.
Key Responsibilities of Role
Operational Management: Ensure 100% timely and accurate delivery of outputs in line with defined SLAs and agreed TATs. Drive daily huddles with team leads and monitor exception dashboards to review performance and output hygiene. Maintain and track the calendar of critical activities to avoid compliance lapses and delays. This role involves overall administrative oversight of the O2C process vertical, ensuring smooth operations. Tax Compliance: Ensure operational-level tax compliance across all O2C transactions through proper checks and controls. Coordinate with the tax team to incorporate legislative changes in the system and processes. Conduct regular training for the team on tax amendments and escalate exception cases to the CATO team. Ensure seamless audit management with adherence to timelines. Audit & Risk Management: Address internal and external audit observations by implementing corrective and preventive actions. Design or enhance process controls based on audit findings and risk assessments. Maintain documentation and compliance frameworks to ensure audit readiness. This includes ensuring audit management with timelines seamlessly. Change Management: Lead or contribute to ABEX and IT-related projects aimed at system/process transformation. Support smooth transitions for new processes within the O2C function,
ensuring they happen smoothly. Continuously explore opportunities for automation and digital enhancement in O2C workflows. Process Improvement: Lead process optimization initiatives through automation tools such as RPA and SAP enhancements. Identify and eliminate non-value-adding/manual steps via regular SOP reviews and lean methodology. Implement Six Sigma or similar frameworks to standardize processes and improve productivity. A key focus will be on driving innovation within the O2C processes. Stakeholder Management: Act as a liaison with Business Units (BUs) to resolve operational issues and enable process improvement. Provide regular dashboard updates to BUs to maintain financial hygiene and transparency. Ensure timely acknowledgment and resolution of escalations, often involving discussions with team leaders and business teams, and support IT/system amendments. Qualifications and Experience
Educational Qualification: CA, MBA / Inter CA Additional knowledge in SAP and Taxation Processes (preferred) Work Experience: 12–15 years of experience in O2C processes, taxation, stakeholder management, and SAP systems with similar domain exposure
