- Understand customer requirements, define product solutions, and provide accurate effort estimations.
- Independently design hardware systems and review technical deliverables from team members.
- Own product certification activities and ensure successful customer delivery.
- Establish and promote best practices for hardware design, debugging, and validation.
- Mentor team members and foster effective collaboration across teams.
- Participate in technical interviews, pre-sales discussions, vendor interactions, and customer communications.
- Collaborate closely with Mechanical and Firmware teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Preferred Experience
- 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in hardware design and embedded systems development.
- Strong expertise with ARM Cortex-A/M SoCs, including board bring-up and optimization.
- Experience with Schematics and PCB layout design and review using OrCAD or Altium Designer
- Knowledge of Signal Integrity, Thermal Analysis, EMI/EMC compliance, and product certifications (FCC, CE, UL).
- Robust understanding of digital interfaces including I C, SPI, Ethernet, USB, SDIO, MIPI, HDMI, and DDR3/DDR4.
- Experience in battery-powered and ultra-low-power product design preferred
- Proven ability to work independently and guide junior engineers.
- Strong communication skills with experience in customer-facing and pre-sales activities.
Education: B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech in Electronics & Communication or Computer Engineering
