Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Sodick Wire Cut Machine Operator to operate and maintain Sodick Wire EDM machines for precision component manufacturing. The candidate should be able to read engineering drawings, set up jobs, and ensure quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and set up Sodick Wire Cut (Wire EDM) machines.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Load workpieces, align fixtures, and perform job setup.
- Monitor machining operations and make necessary parameter adjustments.
- Measure finished components using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, and other measuring instruments.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish as per drawing requirements.
- Perform routine machine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance.
- Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report major breakdowns.




- Maintain production records and follow quality procedures.
- Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area (5S).

Requirements

- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant trade.
- 2-8 years of experience operating Sodick Wire Cut (Wire EDM) machines.
- Knowledge of machine setup, offsets, and cutting parameters.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of precision measuring instruments.
- Good understanding of quality standards and safety practices.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in tool room or precision machining.
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM software (preferred).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts.
